As it says in the tittle, a 1971 & 1972 United State Capitol Police and Worcester County Sheriff's Department unit. Sorry about the quality as the pictures were taken with my phone. Video will come shortly!

Great pics, but the Capitol Police cruiser is a '73 Ford (which were nearly identical to the '74 except for the pattern inside the grille) and NOT a '72.

The '72's front end was very similar to the '71 except that it had a horizontal bar on the front bumper that bisected the center open space of the grille.

The Worcester County is definitely a '71.

The attached Ford brochures prove this out: The first two show the differences between the ''71 and '72. The other two show the '73 and '74 Fords, which clearly exemplifies that the Capitol Police cruiser is a '73.

Sarge619: Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the black Capitol Police car is a '74 Ford, not a '73. First off, the car shown is an LTD, not a Custom 500, which is more likely the trim model that would have been used, but if you look closely at the grille area you will see that the chrome lines form small "fancy" rectangles that look different than that of an egg-crate grille. Secondly, if you look very closely, you can see that the grill is actually made up of three separate pieces instead of being a long one-piece grille. This is a little difficult to distinguish since the pictured car is black, but I have noticed this piece of "body" between the three grille sections on other-color '74 full-size Fords. According to the illustration on the catalogs, the one-piece, egg-crate grille is a '73 and the three-piece, "fancier" grille is a '74.

By Jove you're right! The LTD variant had fancier "appointments" including the grille decoration while the Custom 500 was more mundane. The kicker, as you mention, is that instead of being a one piece grille, it is broken into three separate segments. That, in fact, does make it a '74! I missed that looking at the picture, good catch!
