I would recommend silicone spray on the suction cups.

I ended using double sided adhesive after I got frustrated with the suction cups. The mount works beautifully, go figure.

Any suggestions as to how I can improve the setup? Also, what would you guys suggest for the rear? I'd like to keep it amber, and under 150 bucks if possible. Thanks!

I think another mini-phantom (or 2) would do well in the rear, and keep you on or under budget. You could also go the 2 pimp pods, tir3's, etc...route.

here is what i had in my old ride: 1998 s70, I had 2 911EP stars on the rear deck.

Question for you about the pimp pods and the TIR3's

How are they wired? Can I just hook them up to a switch or do I need a flasher module? How do I set up the flash on something like that?

All you would need is to wire them up and you are set, they have an internal flasher.
