2006 F150/Explorer Console

I have a 2006 F150 FX4 with the center console and floor shifter. The front shifter part looks exactly the same as the Explorer.


My question is does anyone know whether or not the 2006-2009 Explorer vehicle specific console will fit the 2006 F150 with the floor shifter?


I know they make a "console" specifically for the F150 that is basically a piece of metal that fills in the inside of the existing factory console, and I do not want to go that route. I would like to replace the entire console.

Bump, if anyone has any idea on this, info would be greatly appreciated, since this might hold up my install until I decide what I want to do as far as a center console.
