These were installed today. I was going to put the SEM3 from ledguy on a LP bracket in the rear and front, but it looked too bulky so I decided against it. The HAWs will be plenty to get me noticed on the side of the road. In the video, the strobes do look to have a yellow tint, but they are white.

Front: Strobes n More E Series LED hide-aways

Back: Whelen Vertex LED hide-aways

+1, This should be linked to the thread regaurding them.
I love the switches hid in the ashtray!

I will post the video in the thread now.

And thanks, I've always wanted everything nice, clean, and hidden--that's why I decided against the LP lights

Nicely done. Not overkill, but it appears to get attention when the LEDs are on. I also like the hidden switches; nice attention to detail.

So ... where are the rest of the warning lights ?

Like I mentioned, I had more lights to go on the front and back bumper, but the ones on the back looked too bulky and noticeable to I asked to have them taken off, and the front ones couldn't fit with the brackets where I wanted them.

I don't use these lights everyday, only when I go over to clients houses and park on the side of the road. I'm not trying to look like a police car or firetruck

So, why do you have them...? As auxiliary "hazzard" lights...?

I like the placement of the LEDS, they show up well. I am concerned about the clear to the rear. Clear/white showing to the rear of the vehicle is illegal in many states ..... and can get you an equipment violation. Even if you don't get cited, amber is a better choice for rear warning.

Appreciate the concern but I never use the lights unless my vehicle is parked and purely for safety reasons.

I have a question... why the vertexs in the back up lamps and not e series? Would the e series not fit? I want to put a set of blue in the back up lamps in my malibu but wanna make sure I get ones that will fit. Thanks!

Like ISU_Cyclone said, I had already purchased a set of the Vertex's prior to getting the E Series. The E Series and Vertex's are very similar in size, little difference.

Here's an update to my car. I added a slim miser up front and a 10-head warning bar from ledguy. I haven't mounted the bar yet but I'm really impressed with the brightness and quality.

What does everyone think??

Nice install.

Side note, can we get a smiley that has its head banging into a wall? Thats what I'm thinking when I see these guys who don't want their cars to look like cop cars, but go through the effort and money to do so with amber or clear.

It's not even meant to look like a cop car... I mean it's a Malibu.

It's not like I go around trying to pull people over. The lights are for my safety while I'm parked at the side of the road

I work for a large landscaping/masonry company. I go out and quote jobs, and also do follow up visits with customers. I'm always parking on the side of the road; I think it's more polite to leave the customers driveway open in case someone comes home or has to leave while I'm there.
