This was done about a year ago now, never got around to taking the pictures. So here they are now.

On the back of the hose reals we put 2 Whelen M7 Linear Super-LED in Red/Amber, these things are super bright! In the taillights we put a total of 4 Whelen vertex, 1 Red on each side and 1 Amber on each side in the reverse lights. On the side on the hose reals, we put Whelen LIN4 Ambers. In the side windows we put Whelen LIN4 Reds. The windshield has Whelen Inner Edge in all Red. The grill has a Scott and Andy Special, a Whelen 4 Dominator all Red. This thing is awesome! On the sides of the grill we put a Whelen LIN4 split Red/Amber. The headlights have a Headlight Flasher. Last but not least, siren is a Whelen 295SLSA6 Siren and light controller. Take a look and let me know what ya think!

ill see what i can do. The dept. decided they wanted a slick top because of all the off-road use and wooded areas, they wanted everything inside or mounted were it couldn't get ripped off. So we tired our best to make that happen. It turned out really nice. As for the video, i have to get over to the station to get it. Ill try to do it next week. :)

will be waiting for the video.....

Nice! I love the LIN's on the front. Do you have a pic on the whole front area?

Truck looks great! First time I've seen an interior lightbar on a brush truck, and if you think about it, it makes tons of sense.

I think it would be wise to mount a single beacon on the roof (perhaps in a cage guard) just so you have that 360 roof top warning.

nope, that would ruin the slick look of it. sorry.

"Slick look of it" ??? The "Undercover Brush'er". Nothing like doing a stake out on a wheat field. Give me a break. Nice setup though ;) ***Edit: Wait -- this doesn't even meet the legal requirements; it doesn't have 360 degree visible "roof mounted" lighting? I can see the front lights getting away with this since they are probably mounted to the interior roof area but not the sides

Here is the Michigan motor vehicle code, read the difference between "fire" and "emergency vehicle".

( B) A fire vehicle or ambulance available for public use or for use of the United States, the state, or any unit of the state, whether publicly or privately owned, shall be equipped with flashing, rotating, or oscillating red lights and used as required for safety.

dose not say anything about roof mounted does it? NO! And yes, lighting is viable from 360 degrees.

© An authorized emergency vehicle as defined in section 2 may be equipped with flashing, rotating, or oscillating red lights for use when responding to an emergency call if when in use the flashing, rotating, or oscillating red lights are mounted on the roof section of the vehicle, either as a permanent installation or by means of suction cups or magnets and are clearly visible in a 360 degree arc from a distance of 500 feet when in use. A person operating lights under this subdivision at any time other than when responding to an emergency call is guilty of a misdemeanor.

That would be a volly or anything other than a FD apparatus.
