this is a continuation of a thread i started on the old board. a few members requested certain pics and a vid. The truck is a 2010 Ford F-550 chassis and was built by General Fire Equipment in Virginia. The truck has a 500GPM pump and a 500 tank. It has 25 1/2" of ground clearance from a 7" lift and 42" Continental Run-Flats. Below you will find pics and a video of the light package at the end.

i want one. how does this truck do off road and i would rather stick shift just my personal prefrence

Nice rig.... Is that a remote deck gun on the front of the truck

Really sharp looking rig. My only complaint are the unsync'ed light heads - specifically on the side. What color are the LAW's in the turn signals? Looked a bit amber, but it could have been the video or my computer.

Really impressive, love the sound of that diesel engine. Enjoy!

yes it is remote and is controlled from the cab. you can see the joystick in the pics.

I still want one. More so now.. But... I still don't like the front fender.

Also photos 5 and 6.. I understand the "air conditioning" puddle underneath the engine area, but whats with the rear end leak? Looks like the rear diff?

the road armor looks awesome did they have trouble routing the piping for the monitor?? the liberty looks awesome and the shamrock in the back fits in perfect!!

Thats has to be the baddest brush truck I have seen in a long time, if ever! I love it! The tires are bad ass, kinda reminds me of the SVT Raptor.

You'd rather be having to clutch and shift when you're dealing with all of the other things that code driving involves?

Meanwhile, IT IS a Road Armor bumper, I was right! :D

How loud are the speakers with them in the light holes like that?

they are LOUD. there is a whelen sa315 on each side of the bumper and the sound projects out perfectly.

that is a great truck, havent seen many set up anything like it

Very nice Rig. I would put in a headlight flasher . Wonder why you would put amber vertex's to the front.

I agree. Our brush truck is a manual. I hated running code with it. Especially if it was during the day and I had the truck by myself. Wayyy too much to do. I can't imagine trying to run a monitor on top of that. Good choice with the automatic IMO.

And damn nice truck. Gotta be one very expensive truck to build though. Probably close to $100,000. And is it me or are the cab and the body 2 completely different shades of red?

I think the overhanging lip of the top edge in back makes the back look darker, probably actually the same color.

Can't believe all that money was spent and they went with the wrong Bushwacker fender flares on the front. It isn't obvious at first, but once you see it, it's a train wreck. You can't look away.

As far as all the threads with people complaining about lightheads not being synched, some folks like it that way.....I am one of them. Unsynched lights produce a more random flash effect and IMO a therefore more attention grabbing display.

One of two things happened here. Either they ordered the wrong flares, or Bushwacker doesn't make them for the F-550s and they had to retrofit a set to work. The 550s have to larger stock flares to compensate for the larger steering knuckles, and I doubt they get a lot of requests for pocket style flares for such a truck.
