2011 Ford Upfitter Switches

OK simple question...


The Upfitter switches are factory set for Hot in RUN only and the customer wants it to be hot at all times..


any idea?

Tell the customer to never turn the truck off


I'm sure there's a way to change the input power, but you'll have to trace it, or change it on the back of the switches.

The factory relay for it is in the fuse box under the dash....you'll have 4 sides just as a normal relay, ground, ign trip, power IN & power OUT....just put a jumper between the IN & OUT and it will be an all time hot....

I actually figured it out...


the switches are actually very low current.


there is a purple wire on the 2011's that supply the on/off current, cut this wire and run a jumper from the cigar lighter and poof, it now has power at all times
