I've got a 2011 Silverado, and a CPI Com-Pak speaker I've had for a while. I contacted CPI for a vehicle specific bracket, but they don't have one. One they have is for the older "style" Silverado (2000-2007). Does anyone know if there were major changes under the hood in this area or would this bracket still work on an '11? Here's a picture:
I had an '05 Sierra, and the only thing I really notice as a difference in the '11 is the "horse collar". In the '11, it's hollow (open on the top) as opposed to the '05 which was a solid tube.
