This is my week old Escape. It is a 2012 XLT with the Sport Appearance Package, which is used to respond to the station for Fire/EMS calls, or to the scene for any EMS Calls on my way to the station. Front and Rear are on separate switches, not wired to ignition (In case I shut my car off on scene). Also, tail lights have a light tint film over them, with the clear sections cut out.

Equipment:

Front-

Whelen Slimlighter B/B above RVM

Tomar 200-s High Power on lower dash

10-75 Intersection Bracket with LINZ6's.

Rear:

Tomar 200-s High Power R/B

(4) Sound off Signal Hide a way LED's, R/B alternating.

I'm thinking about adding HLF and TLF, But for right now this is the perfect setup for me. I can also add more detailed pictures/videos if needed. And sorry for the $hitty quality, it's my Iphone taking the pics and videos.

Nicely done.

Add some tint and it would be even better. I would only add a HLF and TLF if you were to add anything.

HLF in NYS???

Seems to be accepted practice on the island. I'm not familiar with any HLF use on a blue or green light POV once you get north of NYC, however. There may be a few isolated areas up here, but generally not permissible.

(We all know what the NYS V&T says, so I'm not trying open up an old debate or beat on the dead horse anymore, but just observing how things seem to be in various parts of the state.)

FWIW, when I was still on the job in Rochester, we had a guy move up here from Long Island and settle in one of the suburbs that has a VFD. When he finally got accepted into the department, he came into work the next day and started bugging one of our guys who sells fire equipment on the side to order an HLF for him. It took us several hours of explanation and convincing before he finally understood that it is a no-no by both the law and local practice. That was easily 15 years ago now.

Update: Rear of vehicle has been outfitted with Tomar 200-s High Power up top, and Sound Off Signal LAW's in the clear sections of the reverse lights. In addition, the flashback shield on the front Tomar has been removed, and the Slimlighter has been screwed on instead of double stick. Will get pics of front tomorrow.

PS: Pattern on rear Tomar has been changed to a slower alternating pattern.

Nice ride and very good install... The Escape is a very good looking mid-size SUV..

The only thing I struggle with is the overkilled windshield area... Headliner lights AND dash lights just duplicate the same purpose, and make for an overcrowded area ... not so good looking.

I would go either/or if it were my vehicle...
