I'd have to agree with you. Haven't seen something this nice in a very long time. Years ago the Modular Ambulance Corp. used single-faced turn-signal-type lights in the grille of some of their modular ambulances. Some of these you could see on the Type I ambulances used on Emergency! Their sequence gave the same up and down pattern.

What we did many years ago on an old '60 Chevy station wagon was somewhat similar. We had a pair of single-faced blue Carpenter lights mounted on the front corners of the roof with a red Mars DL8 light in the middle and a red 17 beacon behind the Mars light. On the bumper was a pair of red 6" Unity lights. We used a heavy-duty alternating flasher and hooked the lights up where the rt. blue light on top flashed with the left red light on the bumper and vice-versa. This gave a very nice criss-cross effect, and with that bright-assed Mars light....you could really see that old girl coming! And I've got proof of that. One night we had an unexpected escort from a sheriff's unit. After we had completed the run I thanked the deputy and asked him why he was in such a big hurry as our patient wasn't all that critical. His reply was that he was trying to get away from that bright "wobbly" light and we were staying with him!

^Agreed. Too much clear. I like the grill lights but would prefer the ILB to be all red on a half and half pattern.

Agreed, or if you are set on a red white split of some sort block it off so that it's not every other light.

In the daylight vid the ILB is barely visible at the distance displayed. We all know LEDs aren't great on camera but this sucked hind-tit for visible warning...
