Has anyone ever seen or even just know if Whelen produced *black* endcaps for the 9000/9M/etc? Maybe for some oddball specialty product... Just wondering, as I'm working on a project that could use a pair of black ends.

Spraypaint well used ones, i have a set of 2100 domes that were sprayed black
I was hoping to avoid that if I could. But in the meantime I've run into a separate problem that's holding up the finished product, regardless of end caps. I'll sit on it a little and think about posting it in the project section as it's a pretty useless thing that I'm building just for the hell of it.

Sounds like the projects i keep doing, and the parts i keep accumulating lol (edge parts, liberty parts, 21 and 2700 parts, mx, streethawk parts are also in the mix)

yes they did, but not common, they are easy to make, clear lens and some black paint, I use them often on my micro beam cubes
