Wanted Aerodynic Visi-beam mount

What kind of "mount" are you looking for? The bottom of the light itself that the skirt attaches too? I don't have just the base, but I have a complete Visibeam light for parts that I would be willing to sell. If you are interested, you can PM me, and I will see if I can dig it up in my parts stash. I can't remember if the controller is with it or not.

Thank you for the reply, but I think you are unfamiliar with what I'm looking for. I will see if I can find a picture and post it ASAP

yes, thank you! I am looking for the black skirt and flat plate it mounts to. These then bolt on top of the aerodynic speaker mounting rail. I have the Visi-beam light itself complete.

I would hit up the European members. I think it was a Federal Signal/Vama product primarily

No you are right, I have never seen that before. I have a Twinsonic version where the light sits INSIDE the speaker cover, not on top. It just bolts directly to the chassis. Was that setup ever even used stateside?

"Goldorak" was the trade name for that Aerodynic French lightbar. Vama was a manufacturer of emergency lights all by themselves based in Spain. Federal bought Vama in the mid 90's.

Yes it was used stateside as well. If I recall correctly some state in the south used them widely.

My county here in North Florida had ambulances with Aerotwinsonics with the black Visibeam collars as well. I have a newspaper pic somewhere in my stuff.

Hi guys,

Reviving this thread from the dead. The pictures in this thread are no longer available. Anyone have them somewhere? Looking to recreate the black visibeam skirt, and would need some pictures and or details about that mounting system for the visibeam.

Thanks!

the mounting plate is fairly simple uposed to the black skirt. The skirt is a round to square adaptor with curved sides following the speakerhousing curve. Inside are 4 pillars for the screws. The drawing is from top of mind. Should be a nice 3d printer object if the dimensions are available (I don't have this adaptor anymore mucht to my regret)
