I'm not a radio guy, so I don't know if this is possible, but...
I have an older, issued Motorola HT 1250 handheld. The frequency is 453.250. It currently has a flexible "rubber ducky" antenna. There are some pockets in the county where reception is spotty, especially in the car. Is there some sort of adapter or splitter that would allow me to switch to a car mounted antenna when in the vehicle? Thanks!

Actually, this ENLN4101A may be an option, presuming you can find the required RF adapter: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1932416625...=0&customid=link&campid=&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

Thank you! I like that. I'll have to talk to our radio guy and get his take. (Plus, I have no idea what an rf adapter is...)

a RF adapter is the connector for the antenna on the radio to the antenna you want on your car..

if it has a common motola antenna you can use an adapter like this for bnc or find a version for 239
