Anyone familiar with NYSP vehicle paint and decals?

from a conversation i had a couple years ago regarding this topic, the reply I got was that dark blue spray paint (or even krylon dark blue paint) will be as close as a match to the NYSP blue.


Glad to see a fellow model maker on the forums, I mostly do fire related ones though.

Where do you find fire related kits??? All I can find is either preassembled die cast metal or foreign trucks. I'd go broke fast if I knew where to find a good supply of fire engine kits!

trumpeter has a really nice ALF eagle fire truck modeled after college park VFD E-121. It can cost ya upwards of 100.00 though online.


I have built 3 of them. It comes with authentic looking diamond plate also
