Anyone remember the "rotating strobe" someone made by rotating filters around 360 strobes in an XL 9000?

I do remember those! Cool to see he is still working with that design and posting videos fairly recent
It is interesting that someone tried to patent a cross between his idea and a pierce-alert. Still a cool concept.....from the Dtech eta but a better idea IMHO

That's a unique way to get multi-color strobe flashes. Of course, whenever the strobe flashes and you are seeing the joint between the two colored lenses, it is a split fail. ;):D

that would be my design, i have 1 available , combo strobe and sealed beam

Please forgive the mildly off topic question, but are you the same Martin Bliewas that was caught up in that surplus two-way radio mess a few years back? I remember reading about it on Radio Reference, and worrying about something similar happening to me (as I've been buying a lot of government gear).

i am not him! i am the original designer, the only part he had in this was supplying the lighting equipment to build the first working model for the patent filing. the radio incident must have taken place well after we went our separate ways
