I'm looking to tinker with the patterns on my Ajent SL. I've read the manual, but still confused a bit. Would I just apply 12v to the pattern selection wires to change the pattern through the harness or directly on the flasher connection?

Thanks,

Al

Thanks,

You must touch each corresponding pattern select wires in the harness to each other to change the patterns. You can change the pattern for front and rear for each warning mode independently.

For example, if you were using a progressive slide switch controller, the first position would be Mode 1 with the rear pattern being XY and the front pattern off.

The next position would be Mode 2 with the rear pattern changing to XYZ and the front pattern being ABC.

Does this make sense?

Like this:

To change the front patterns in Mode 1: apply 12 volts to the white/green, then touch the green/white/red to the other green/white/red momentarily to change the pattern.

To change the rear patterns in Mode 1: apply 12 volts to the white/brown, then touch the brown/white/red to the other brown/white/red momentarily to change the pattern.

To change the front and rear patterns in Mode 2, maintain 12 volts to the white/green and white/brown, and then:

apply 12 volts to the white/blue (front), then touch the green/white/red to the other green/white/red momentarily to change the pattern.

apply 12 volts to the white/yellow (rear), then touch the brown/white/red to the other brown/white/red momentarily to change the pattern.

Hope this explains it better for you. Good luck!

It's suggested that you work from the top down if you have connected the lightbar to progressive lighting controls (slide switch). Start at 3, program it, then two, program it, then finally one.
