That is a Dietz portable 510-CI (concealed identity) warning light with a heavy duty suction cup / vacume mount - 1960s

In CA, It was actually a pretty common set up to have an opticom in the speaker housing.

This is probably one of my favorites.

Wow! That's soooo nice. I've looked for one of those old suction-cup dash lights for years and have never come across one. If I'm correct, that's what they used on the old "Lineup" TV show that ran from 1957-59.

LAPD ran this same set up before switching to the all light aerodynic, just saying!

Nice! You snagged the Aerodynic I was looking at buying. Bought the other one he had that had the amber lenses due to the fact it was a 4 segment and was correct for one of my cars. Best $50 I have spent in a while!!

What agencies used these sound off deck lights? I see them pop up from time to time, but have never seen any photos of cruisers that had them.

Fedsig7 didn't get the aerodynic from Robert, I was the person who bought the Red/Blue aerodynic that Robert had at the show.
