Changing positions at my job and I will be driving an unmarked vehicle that cannot have any visible lights (even from the inside). I will be putting in a head light and tail light flasher and I would like to get a sun visor light that I can take out when not in use. What is the best/brightest one out there?

I think it was either SOS or Code 3 who came out with a Gen III one a few months ago.

Tried and true- magnet or suction cup mounted dash rotator like a code3 Dash Laser M, sit's on the floor till needed

You want to know which one's best? Chevy.

Or is it Ford?

Dodge!

But if you're looking for a cheaper option, consider an imported model!

I've used the gen III SOS visor light and was quite happy with it. I haven't seen the Code 3 visor light they released earlier this year, but considering the types of LEDs they're using and the price tag I saw with it, it should also be a good product. I'd say you'd do well with either one.

I'm a fan of the SOS, but the code 3 is definitely a better value, but feels cheap. SVP has the patent on the auto tilt and shome has the patent on the white halo LEDs.

Hey Jared. U got pics of the auto tilt and the halos?

These are amazing. I had a chance to toy around with one before and its really the best choice. It is a close contender with the code 3 that 911 mentioned IMO. if you went with either, you would be off just fine. Good luck with the new assignment.

I own a SOS gen3 visor light in B/B and won't be buying another light because I like it so much. That being said, I could not afford to spend close to $200 on it and I waited for a few months and it appeared here for about half that. Even at full price I think you will be satisfied with it. IMO the 12v socket plug that it comes with it is cheap. I ended up hardwiring it once a friend stepped on the plug and the plastic ring that keeps the whole thing together at the tip of the plug broke.
