Can I use Whelen Strobes and Flashback in the rear of a 2011 impala.

I would like to install the ETFBSSN-P flashback. It alternates the brake and reverse lights ( SIRENNET.COM - SoundOff Flashback Solid State Taillight Flashers ) AND also install the Whelen CS240 Strobes ( Competitor™ Series Strobe Power Supplies - Whelen Engineering Automotive ) in the rear of the Impala.


Can I accomplish this without having two products in the same flashing section of the taillights ?


Any opinions on the CS240? Will it be bright enough ?

Personally, I dislike "flashback" type products, simply because I don't want the brake lights flashing unless I step on the brake. Seems like a good way to get rear ended by someone who isn't paying attention.


Get a good set of LAWs (LED hideaways) like Feniex cannons or something and put them in the back-up lights. Then mount some good amber warning lights on the rear deck or rear headliner. What are you going to be doing? Running code? Parked, blocking traffic?

I, too, prefer strobes only versus a traffic backer. Strobes alone or LED hide-a-ways alone would be more than sufficient.
