Have an older cencom red that's giving me trouble. A few times, when you activated a fuction on the 3position slider switch, it would come on for 3-5 seconds, then the backlighting on the control pad would start flashing (at a regular interval), along with the function being turned on/off.

This (flashing) happened for approximately 5 seconds, then the whole unit would go dead and nothing would work. Sometimes it would start back up at the next time the key was cycled in the ignition.

The cencom control pad was sent to whelen and checked out OK, software was checked, etc. Nothing wrong with it.

Could this be a bad ARM? All fuses have been checked, power and ground have been checked, etc.
