I'm very happy with my Advanced Warning Lights SMT3 grill lights. They can be synced, and I find the patterns to be pretty damn effective.
Thanks for the input. I figures strobesnmore and AWL would be the two best places to look and you guys confirmed that. As far as size of light, Eric, he really isn't much of a light geek and it's only being used in a courtesy light state. I can see two tir3's in the grill being plenty in addition to his dash light, and cost is the biggest determining factor for him.

I would also go with AWL or SNM, but (instead of 3 LED models) I'd go with the SMT6 or E6, because the cost/benefit is worth it. IMO, in a courtesy light state, you can use all the help you can get (within reason!) in being seen, so the extra few LEDs per unit will help a lot, especially in the daytime.
Even with cost being a factor, he could get a pair of SMT6 & a dual pulse dash light without breaking the bank.

I think he's looking in the $30 range.. might also want to check out these Vivid AE-T3 Lighthead Probably the cheapest american made 3 led light out there right now.
