This is the same guy that's selling the 2100s on ebay for $80 each. He also has about 14 Jet Strobes same price of $50 each. He said he'd go $40 each, maybe $35 each if someone took more than 6.
I spoke with him a little the other night, I was thinking about maybe snagging up everything, but that's probably 6 hours from me, although I'm about halfway out to him every other month or so. Was gonna strip and list the Edge parts on ebay, but I'm not even sure it would be worth the time and drive.

he has had these bars on CL up from time to time.

Beat tag holders were removed by Chicago PD prior to sale and reused. I remember bidding on these light bars on auction site.

If you want a beat tag you can contact Eric6913 or INSTR60 they can build you one. Exact replicas

Not sure if he has the 2100s on ebay or not, I've just seen them on a few of the Facebook groups like The Fire Hall Flea Market, Police fire ems buy sell trade, etc.
I would have assumed that also, that the tags were removed before he bid. He doesn't seem to know a whole lot about these bars, or very open to much converstaion or negotiation.
I need to start getting in on the govt auctions, rather than dealing with the people who won the auctions.. lol

I ended up making a trip out there this weekend. There were 9 Edges left, I bought them all for $30 each. Each one has missing parts, cracked lenses, etc. but I should be able to make at least 3-4 complete good bars out of them to resell as authentic CPD bars on ebay for at least $150-200 each, and I might get ahold of the members stated above for tag replicas.
He also gave me for $100 TOTAL: 4 MX7ks (1 is a 72"), 3 Streethawks, 1 Vista, 1 Code 3 360, 1 Star Bar, 1 Tomar 930. I might be able to make either the 72" or a smaller MX complete, but mostly everything else will be parted out.
If anyone needs any parts get a hold of me. It'll probably be a week or so before I start getting everything together and pics for a thread here.

He still has about 14 Jetstrobes, a Raydian, Freedom, mini liberty, and probably about 6-8 2100s remaining, and some misc controllers, beacons, etc. He said if he still has anything left in another month or so, he'd sell it to me dirt cheap, so I may plan another trip out there if there's enough left to make it worth a drive.
