CHP halogen to LED timeline?

Does anyone know the approximate years California Highway Patrol went from the signalmaster rear deck lights to the Cuda deck lights to the whelen lights?

I understand the Federal Signal LEDs were an in between from the halogen lights to the Whelen stuff, and there’s probably a lot of overlap, but was curious what years they were in use.

You can't see it, but under the "Motor Shop" sign is a giant box with all the Red and Blue lenses from the removed units lined up on the pavement.

That’s a cool picture. There’s a great website that chronicles CHP’s radio system; however, he doesn’t get too into lighting.

It’s too bad someone hasn’t ironed all the lighting and siren systems transitions out.

I oversaw building two slick-top DUI Crown Vics for my (then) PD's reactivated DUI unit. They were 2001's so this would have been in late 2000 to early 2001. CHP was using the CUDA systems then, because I went to CHP MTS (Motor Transport Services) to see what they were using when I was doing the spec research for our units and spec'd similar packages for our new cars.
