CHP Vision Build Pics!

Thought I would post some pics of my CHP Vision clone build. Original 44" CHP frame and "tray", 12 way fuse block for power distribution, functions relayed, used Smart Vector boards so I wouldn't need a special controller, bought 4 "new" clear domes(found a 5th that my dad had), wet sanded and polished a red dome and a 6th clear, bought NOS black pod bases, polished the reflectors, NOS aluminum pod frames for pods 3 and 5, and figured out how to make 1 and 8 on the signal master flash with mode 1.

Originally I had planned on using one of the frames from the Smart Vector parts bars, but they were 47", longer than the CHP frames.

I've had about 30 hours into this bar. I still have to wet sand and polish the scratches out of the new domes, along with finishing the jumper wires to pod 4's board. Might put another coat of paint the T/A cover and main body cover too.

That is a nice setup. Good job. And it is not easy setting one up with 3 or 4 smart boards.

Thanks! I had originally wanted to use the parts vector base tray because of the open space so I could set the boards like you did, but they were the wrong length. Luckily the Vision tray had posts that I could screw two boards down to, and enough room for two boards on the sides:D
