CIE ? DEEP Blue NOS Dome For Signal Stat Flash Ball

Just recieved this NOS, very deep blue, CIE ? For my Signal Stat 384 "Flash Ball"


The picture definitely doesn't show how dark it really is.

I don't know if that is a CIE blue or simply an old blue dome that has not faded. I bought a new dome to replace a cracked Fireball dome and this new dome is a dark blue (no markings on it, likely an FB1 dome). I recently found out that Whelen's greenish-blue domes were not the same color as their early blue domes, which were a dark blue.

Ya, I posted a pic of a Corporal old blue in my Rota Beam Family History thread.


I just had never seen a Sig Stat, or similar dome this dark.

Nice blue dome, where did you get it? any more left? red or blue?

Very nice rich deep color. I always liked the look of CIE Blue.
