Looking for some help with this SD bar I have. It's the Cal spec model that has rear Amber flash. Need to know what these little round black things are inline on the power wires on the rotator. One is bad. Power in, but no power out. Can I just bypass it or is it necessary? Anyone have a rotator assy with these for sale so I can just swap it out? Thanks for any help....IMG_20170920_113655914.jpg

I am not sure of the function but to what I can see of the symbol on the components, they should be diods.
That means that they are one way, that is, they are leading the current in the arrow's direction.
You should be able to get a similar diod that are rated about 3 Ampere at an electronics component retailer to replace the broken one with.

Matt, does that assembly spin.. aka Select -o- lert? They appear to be diodes and generally a diode only allows current to travel 1 way. Could be used to control lamp on and off times depending on what the position the bulbs are at.

I don't have any experience with Select o lert bars.. but if the lamp assembly does not spin.. you may just be able to bypass it and wire directly.. like the CTS bars.

Yes Rob it does spin. It is a select alert I believe. It turns the bulbs on when they are at the rear position when you have the the rear only amber flash activated.

Well you could always pull the numbers off the diode that is bad.. remove it.. and then replace (resolder) a good one to fix the light.
