The FWC trucks are some of my fav.s in Florida...I also saw 2 unmarked FWC F-250's in Boca once that had insanely awesome lighting setups.


I really think those 500's look good on the impala for intersection warning and wish I saw them more often


as for the C.O.P. vehicle, that is the nicest C.O.P. vehicle I've seen (everything in my part of SE Florida is converted/retired road patrol vehicles)

Nice looking Impala..... wonder how it will look with the bullet holes and blood stains in it when the hood rats figure out it's not the police. :ugh:

One of the reasons I use removable magnetic signs that I can stick on the door during an event and than remove when leaving.

The CHP Diplomat with the JetSonic bar is incorrectly red/red.... but I think it looks cool as hell. I think the CHP did have red/red bars when they first adopted the TwinSonic in the early 70s.

The 1979 Chevrolet Malibu was the tank that got my attention. Where I live the city PD had a fleet of 'em. But they didn't have Federal rack on the roof. They had Dominion Auto racks with two red four beam beacons and a CP25 style speaker in between. It was like a Canadian version of the Visibar. The sirens were Federal though - PA15A series 1Es.

He's been in a car show I volunteer for in South Florida. He drives in with magnets over the star and an out of service cover over the bar. I think he said he just didn't feel like getting hassled by Police on the road for displaying blue.

I love the old cars. It is interesting how things have changed. Remember when people would pull over for a squad with two rotators on top?


The tow truck is a perfect example what not to do. It is just terrible
