Has anyone bought anything from this site? Looking at the Mega Flash Dash-Flash Mega-Flash Red Blue LED Police Firefighter EMT Light or something similar to is.

I see Feniex has something similar with there Python 600 (Police lights, Emergency led lights, public work lights, Feniex industries, Warning vehicle lights and sirens, lightbars) but I'm thinking it is more of an exterior bar.

If anyone has any other suggestions on something like the ones posted above please feel free to inform me of them.

Search this site for STL aka Speed Tech Lights, or use the terms "Chinese junk" and read up!!

Cheap ≠ Good

Good ≠ Not Always Cheap

Ask dealers on here, or check the For Sale area in the Enthusify Marketplace

That first light is a giant hunk of crap. For $180 you could have any of the dash lights made by the name brands, FedSig Viper, Whelen Avenger, Slimlighter, ect...that will be much brighter and ore durable.

if you buy these , let me know, i got a bridge in brooklyn i can sell you !!!

those are all outdated overpriced lights

I like how they used "mega", as if some potential customer was looking around at different products, saying, "I've looked at several sites and don't think I've found anything that fits what I need. I guess I'm just gonna have to...wait, what's this? OMFG! It's a MEGA LED dashlight! Yup, THIS is the one."

Is the Feniex bar I posted an interior bar or is it more for being used on the exterior of a vehicle?

Both but it does not have a flashback guard. A cobra 2x does or the old python 4x

Any bar "designed for exterior use" does mean it HAS to be used on the exterior, it just means it is sealed and tested to be able to be exposed to the elements.

As Jamey said, if you planned to use it up front, such as on a headliner or dash, there is no flashback shield.

this might be the only effective "dash flashing" that light could do.

Ok I get it guys. Its junk. I didn't know. I don't follow the emergency lighting industry like some of you guys. I'm just kicking around the idea of getting a 4 head LED dash light and saw that one after a guy on my dept got it. I'm welcome to ideas or better lights.

Talk to Tom with Advance Warning Lights or Nic with FEVER, about getting a good deal. They're both members on this site. In fact, I think tom posted in this thread.

Louis at strobesnmore.com

He'll get you a good price in brand name products or his ELB-respected, popular SNM brand lights

John Forbes at lonestarpse.com is also a good guy if you're looking for name brand products

Don't take their comments to to harshly. Alot of it is just humor. You are welcome to the site and I think we can all applaud you for actually trying to do some research first and not just going with the first thing you find that is cheap. Alot of people come across warning lights simply by doing a quick search on the internet and clicking one of the first links they see then pass it on to their friends.

Be careful... not everything is great just because it looks good on a website.

Stay safe

Any of the above listed brands and vendors are good choices (except for the original "Mega" light and anything from STL, of course). Another excellent option would be a light from Microman Industries. He's another board member that makes some very bright, quality lights that you can custom-design.

Thanks guys. I'll check them all out. Does Tomar make a 4 head dash light? I currently have the 200s High power light. Very nice light. I'd just prefer to have 1 single 4 head vs two 2 head units.

The ones that have caught my attention so far have been the Python 4x and the Soundoff Ultralight 4. Thoughts on either of these?

The pyton 400 is gonna be cheaper than an ultralite. If you really want, I can get ya a price on both. A cobra 2x is going to have a better footprint than an ultra light though.
