Dashlaser disassembly

Hey All,


I'm going to be picking up a replacement motor for my Dashlaser and I'm a bit concerned about getting the worm gear off the shaft...it seems to be on there fairly tight...is there a trick to it or what?

You can pull them off by hand sometimes, but most of the time I use a needlenose pliers.


Put the jaws loosely around the shaft or the smaller end of the worm gear & pry.


Just use the mid-part o the pliers as a lever if that makes sense.
