Dual color led light stick

Is there a dual color light stick out on the market. I used the search function, and got nothing that helped back. I don't want one that has a warning mode and a traffic mode. I just want a warning mode. I swear I have seen this before, but it could just be in my mind. The one I think I saw flashed half the bar one color, half the bar same color, half the bar second color, other half second color. So, like this

Red......Red

Amber....Amber

Red......Red

Amber...Amber

And so on. But that is just the colors I would want. Again, if I am crazy, that is possible. If it is out there, can somebody point me the right way. Thanks

Whelen has the 500 series duo color TA & liberty

SNM has the duo color E66

FedSig has a duo & tri color

Axixtech has the commander & stealth visor (they are the pioneer of true duo color, whereas most of the bigger names interweave GenIII diodes of different colors)

The able2/sho-me uses interweaved GenI LEDs, which are far from impressive

While I don't know too much about the functions of the other mentioned bars, the Axixtech Commander - which I'm using in my POV - uses amber for the traffic mode, however it can also do the warning patterns in amber and the T/A in "warning color", but not in an automatically alternating mode.

It's designed to be red, blue or red/blue in "warning mode" and amber in "T/A-mode". By pressing the AUX-button, I can swap this - the "warning mode" then will be amber and the "T/A-mode" in warning color (which, in my case, is blue only).

But it can't do the warning pattern in alternating "blue" and "amber" cycles; and as far as I understood, this is what the OP is looking for.

Correct. Let's take amber out of the equation, make it red and blue. This will take the confusion out of the traffic part. Have it flash like this

Red.........Red

Blue........Blue

Red.........Red

Blue........Blue

I was just choosing red and amber because that would be the color I would be looking for for the rear of my vehicle. I know there are individual dual color light heads that will flash one color then the other. Does anyone know if they could be synced up to flash how I want them to? And, are they big enough heads to give a decent footprint through tint of a 2013 explorer?

Thinking about it again... - I remember the minibar I would use for a couple of months could do this. However, this bar was a total fail since it was not waterproof (which, in fact, is quite ridiculous for any exterior light, of course :duh: ...).

When you're planning to mount that stick inside your vehicle, this brand might be an option though. I've seen on the dealer's website that they sell a tri-color lightstick which seems to be designed exactly like my minibar was. They also programmed some extra features for me, so I guess a lot of things may be possible. Again, in the end that product was just disappointing as it proved not to be suitable for exterior use, but the dealer immediately refunded my money then.

So if there's really nothing from a "top notch brand" out there that might suit your requirements, you might want to give that one a try: Abrams® FastTrack 6 Head Tri-Color Arrow Stick - but of course please keep in mind that this is some Asian stuff and you might have to use the dealer's comprehensive warranty :-)

Here's my review about the mentioned minibar.

I'll try to post a Video later this day to show you its alternating r/a-warning mode you are looking for.

So here's what those "Abram's"-brand tri-color lights can do; maybe it's close to what you're looking for. This is, just as I mentioned, a quick example of an alternating R/R..A/A..R/R..A/A... flash pattern on that "Taurus"-minibar which obviously derives from the same product series, so I guess their light stick might be very similar.

Again, read my review and then decide if you want to give it a try, or if you keep looking for an alternative from a well-known brand.
