F350 Brush Truck Interior Light Bar

Setting up 2@ 2010 F350 Fords as brush trucks. Departments like going to Interior light bar to reduce profile and on the first unit we did last Winter, put in a Whelen Inner Edge split mount made for F350. Works well with warning signal but firefighters complaining of flashback. Looking at SOS Pinnacle which is marketed as smaller, tighter package with less flashback. Emailed company to see if F150 mount will work but not heard yet. Any experience out there in putting in Interior Light Bars in F350'S? In general, is there material you can use to "seal" the LB to inside window? Silicone tape? Physics will dictate that the angle of windshield has a lot to do with it, but looking for solutions to reduce the flashback. Is there any difference between manufacturers? OEM products that come with window/dash lights or interior light bars never fit that great in my experience, and trimming to fit better did not seem to work out well.

BTW, on the first install we put the SOS LED utility flood lights on both sides of the headache rack back of the cab and 2 more on the rear tool compartments facing backwards and they work great. They are independently switched.
