Factory/Training opportunities?

I think this is in the right section since it does pertain to a discussion about warning lighting..

So I do installations for people on my agency and other various agencies here and there. I have 3 years of experience and formal electrical training, but I would really like to enhance my skills. It seems as though the "EVT" certification is more of just a test, no formal instruction. I live pretty close to the whelen factory in NH... do they do any sort of factory training for the public? (I don't sell whelen) or is ther anywhere that does? or any other good resources or suggestions? Thanks all

Ive been to four or five training classes over the years, but they were all held at the Connecticut facility. As far as I know they dont do training at the New Hampshire facility, but I could be wrong.

At the time I was working for the only master distributor in Virginia, and they were sending me. I havent been since I started my own business, but would like to again sometime. I dont know if they have any requirements or not--as being a dealer of theirs. Contact a regional sales rep and see what they can tell you.
