Restoring a federal beacon ray for a fellow fire service member who has been ill. Turns our we have been both going through similar treatments. IF you know, you know. I really do not think I need to get into specifics here. I am helping him out and rebuilding a light for him. The motor appears to have a dead short internally. I am assuming a winding, but have not got that far into it yet. I cannot remember, but was pretty sure someone here rebuilt electric motors. Let me know if anyone can assist. Also, looking for a pipe mount (model ) aka clam shell base for him. IF not, maybe an uncut skirt. I usually never ask for help, but in this case I feel its the least I can do. Everything else I can get. Please message me if you can help. As always, thank you.
