Federal Junior 15 Question

Does anyone know why some Junior Beacon Rays have different size spacers that align the Lens Holder to the bulb filament? Some have 1/2' spacers and some have 5/16" spacers. The shorter spacers cause the light so shine downward slightly if using the appropriate bulb. The dates are just to identify the particular beacon.

Probably due to different filament alignment in the bulbs…check to see if one is aligned vertically or horizontally. I adapted one of mine to use a halogen bulb and had to adjust the alignment. Other than that, the bulb base may have changed slightly.
