I was wondering if anyone here has successfully added a priority tone to a PA300 that has the HI-LO. I was hoping to possibly have it tied to an extra button I would wire or just completely replace HI-LO if I have to. I've seen other post of people who have done it or talked about doing it but I haven't found any good tutorial or guide as to how.

On some of the really old school stuff, we modified the tone by just inserting a momentary DPDT switch and crossing over to a circuit with a different capacitor and believe it or not, some turn signal flashers. The PA300 is a little more advanced though. That's all done via the 4046.
