This wasn't a LODD but I felt I should post it anyway.
A fellow firefighter of mine from my previous department passed away the other night. His wasn't a duty related death but unfortunately he had been battling stomach cancer for the past year or two.
He was made a hometown hero last year and told news reporters that he wasn't going to stop responding cause of it. He said that just because he had cancer he wasn't going to stop doing what he loved and helping people.
So I just thought I should honor Chris Billa one last time. He left behind one young daughter that I know of. He was 26 years old.
