Can anyone tell me if the heat sink on a Feniex Cannon is to thick to install in a ford police interceptor sedan park /turn housing? Appears the double wall housing isn't deep enough for the cannon heat sink to clear the outer wall so it can be sealed properly.

They didn't work for me. I tried the 360 degree version. I've only had luck with the PI-specific Whelen PTW bulbs. They're hard to find for less than $200 each. I've been looking for another pair for 6 months.

I was thinking the 360° optic cannons too because of the mounting placement but yeah the Ford PTW are very expensive. The Whelen Vertex is much slimmer but doesn't give the full light output being mounted in the side of the housing. I think I'll just scratch the hideaway idea and go another route like mirror beams or mirror mounted lights to add more to the front being it's a slicktop
