Feniex Fairies vs. Whelen Vertex

I currently have Whelen Vertexes installed in two of my vehicles as supplemental warning. They're pretty good at night but only decent in the day. Both vehicles' light housings are, shall we say, not optimal for hideaways being both limited in size and the lenses heavily fluted to direct the OEM bulb (2003-2005 model year vehicles before clear lenses and multifaceted reflectors became popular). The Vertexes are usually pretty good from one specific angle and marginal in all others.

Everyone seems to rave about the Fairies from Feniex but how much of an improvement am I likely to see over the Vertex, if any? I have ten Vertexes right now so that's a LOT of coin to drop on something that may not make the situation any better. Thanks.

All hide a way lights are very dependent on placement. I've found that the taller hide a way LEDs tend to do better if mounting from the side of the main reflector.
