First Blood

Crazy question but does anyone know the make of the Red and Blue Warning lights on the Police Cars in the movie "First Blood" with Sly Stallone? You know where the Sheriff picks Stallone up for hitchhiking and then when he chases him through town and out into the country side.

Those are def Yankee beacons, but I don't know the model#.

They are Yankee brand beacons. This question was bound to eventually come up as it has on every single version of the board over the years.

They are Yankee model 354 beacons on a Yankee crossbar. It is one of the lightbars on my list to make. Still looking for the correct crossbar though.


I have the two 354 beacons, one is NOS with a red dome, and one is used, but with an NOS blue dome.

I find them on Ebay. They usually go pretty cheap. I paid $71.00 for that NOS red one, and $35.00 each for the NOS blue and red domes.
