Ford Sport Trac intersection warning ideas please!

My Deputy has a 2008 (I think) Ford Explorer Sport Trac. In the front, he's got 4 Ghosts in the grille, HLF, and a Slimlighter above the RVM. He'd like to add some corner warning for intersections. We went to put in 4 corner strobes today and he saw the headlight bucket was double walled, and he hesitated about adding the light. Actually, his original thought was in the amber section on the outside edge, but when I got there, there's obviously no possible way to fit a bulb in there. Anyway, wondering if anyone has any ideas to add intersection warning without costing too much? (I know the SOS intersectors would be great, but pricey.)

Would putting a HAW tube here provide good side warning or would the light be just washed out because it's far away from the focal point, and would be washed out by the HLF. Or, I thought about surface mounting a LAW here (I also thought of surface mounting a Tomar RECT13 in the same spot, but looked horrible). Or maybe a 10-75 license plate bracket. Any other thoughts would be appreciated!!! Thanks-

I searched the forums but didn't find anything he was willing to do.

Put whatever/strobe HAW or LED LAW in the driving light area. Amber Whelen LAWs here and they do a decent job, day or night.
