Got a club car gas powered cart that needs some lighting. Mainly used in parades as an escort vehicle but also toget around at our towns fall festival.

Do I go simple and just put a mini led bar on top or deck it out with front , rear and side LEDs? Would like to find a mini siren CHEAP since it will see limited duty

I agree a mini bar would look good. I have a few for sale currently (R/W/R Turbo Beam and a Sho Me Stealth that is currently all amber).

Though I like the Edge on it, a simple LED mini bar would probably be best. Less draw on the system, wont stick up as high (tree branches and whatnot, they dont like lightbars!) and they can be had pretty cheap around here. Just saw a nice amber Century in the classified for like $150.

Any siren over 20W is going to ruin the hearing of everyone on board and everyone walking in front of you when it comes on, so if you MUST have an audible warning device on it, tread lightly and be fairly considerate. It is just a golf cart, after all...

Keep it simple...mini LED light bar up top and call it a day. Keep it LED for brightness and amp draw.

My favorite economy-range lightbar is the Whelen LP responder, but you can get a Feniex Apollo for same price or an economy SNM minibar for less

That's why I was looking for one of the cheap mini sirens

Wolo, Wolo, Wolo (sung to the tune of a Hi-Lo tone).

We use THESE on our two ATVs.  Not as loud as the Whelen 30-watt units (these are only 20 watt), and only single tone (medium-paced yelp), but do you really need to have wail, yelp & air horn to get around on an ATV or golf cart?  Decent unit for the price.

A good backup beeper on a switch is about the best for heavy pedestrian areas. Sirens seem to freak people out when they are that close and they don't move as quickly and get in the way trying to see what is going on. The beeper, they just kind of move out of then way and don't think anything about it.

i would do a feniex apollo mini-bar, dual r/w for flood over ride ( really helps at night, you'll find a million uses for it)
