This is Enfield PD CT back in the mid eighties...All the depts. that were around here and city of Hartford had 8000`s..I`ll have to dig for some more pics i have.. :) This is home of whelen..The cruise lights were the best in these...

That's a blast from the past! I loved the looks of that body style, but the performance was lacking! I have a 1988 Diplomat that is waiting on me to redo, going to see how many tricks i can do to the little 318 to get more power!! Thought about dropping a 383 or 400 in it!

Wasn't that agency on Rescue 911? I think it was a winery robbery with a car chase.

Those takedowns were huge!!! it had 2 360,s and 2 180`s to the rear..you can run 360`s or rears..but not both at the same time.. I like my 8029..2 360s and 4 180`s..u can run them all...East Hartford Ct had those...all blue turtles..

enfield still uses all black cars they have charges now and i think they are slick top. my friend does them at his shop

Enfield has no chargers, 100%Ford, and all are black and whites except for a couple silver ones. Mustang....are you an Enfield officer? My father retired from there a few years ago.

Jason, I was an auxiliary officer when that photo was taken in the 80`s I`m now a PO at WestConn in Danbury..My best friend who was an auxiliary officer when that photo was taken is now a detective on EPD...Enfield has all Blck/white vics..no chargers..

Mustang his name is Skip (238), he was on from 75-07. He went to Vernon PD to be the evidence room tech after retiring and has been there ever since.
