Welcome! What organization are you with in Arkansas?

IMO, 4-way hazards generally do the trick for the type of use that you will be getting.

fire dept looking for something that will draw less power then the 4 ways cant leave it running cuz it smokes like a train looking for something to leave on that wont drain my battery with the car off

For low power draw, this'll probably do well: [Link]

1) A few years ago I decided the only thing that would work as a mag mount beacon for an SUV with crossbars, was a Federal Model 100 with homemade magnet mount that let it sit up high enough to be seen. If you're looking for something to use with the engine off, this is a Whelen 1200 that would do the same thing:

2) If you're a firefighter why aren't you using red/clear permitted for your POV by your state? That would give you the protection of the "move over" law when you're "working an MVA" as you mentioned.

I don't know about where you are but we are not allowed to take personal vehicles to roadway calls, especially MVAs. That is the best place to get hit - people slow down to stare and slam into you and each other.

However, if you are on the fire department, then install red/white HAW leds.

we had problems with people not following the rules with there lights so we no longer run them on POV's

most of the time i go to the station but some times the 1st truck has allready left the station and i go pov which sucks but not many other options
