Help Please !

Can anyone kindly assist me in identifying this style and type of light bar seen on a Ford Explorer police vehicle from 2003 to 2004.

The picture is a little confusing as this vehicle appears to have its original Code 3 420 series mini light bar directly in front of the full width light bar. But its the full width rounded edge light bar that I am trying to identify

Thank You !

Hi,

Looks like a Federal Signal JetStream to me.

I had one on an S10 pickup back around 1990. I added an independent fast rotator to the center section. Looks to me like they opted not to do that and use a mini bar in front of what was likely a blank space.

Originally,, these bars had a siren speaker in the center section and were called the JetSonic. The move away from roof mounted sirens saw them change from the speaker to an optional light section in the center.

Stan, YOU are the Man !

Thank you so much for a speedy response.

I think what has happened here is that this vehicle was originally fitted with a Code 3 420 series, and then had the Jetstream added later. And they just couldn't dealing with repairing the holes in the roof and kept the original in place

Thank you so much for helping me identify it !
