Was driving on I-10 and I see this purple starburst looking thing in the middle of the road... I wasn't sure if aliens were invading or what was going on... It was plenty bright for sure... When I was on side I could see it looked like it had at least 10 INDIVIDUAL linz6 style lightheads on the back.... not like a dominator or anything... bunch of individual ones.. (sorry its vertical... was trying to drive safely... this was taken at sunrise, 6 am)

Regardless... sync would have made ALL the difference... you can see how purple it was when he's about at my 10-11 o'clock and its reflecting off my dash/A-pillar...

WOW that is a sucky set-up! We really ought to sticky that video with the gawd-awful tow truck as an example of how split fail DOESN'T WORK!!!!

And yeah, had those lights been sync'd to do all one color, then the other, that'd be BRIGHT and very nice. Too bad....

Yup... synced he would have definitely been noticed! It was so horrible I couldn't completely tell if it was a split fail or sync fail... but either way, it demonstrates the importance of watching your patterns... especially when the lights are so close together!

That's the best vid I've seen of a purple blob of light on this site so far....

On an unrelated, unimportant sidenote, I'd know a 7th gen dash anywhere

Haha great eye! And ya the smaller width / footprint of the motorcycle combined with an affection for blinky stuff, definitely created a worst-case scenario
