HSS 2200 Help!!!

So I got a new car Friday and the lights worked for about an hour. After that the handheld unit clicks like has power but it will not operate anything. The backlight does not come on either. Any thoughts on what the problem may be?

Have you checked the fuse?

Yes every fuse on the unit, the main breaker under the hood, and the fuses on the power distribution blocks. Basically anything on or connected to the unit.

Have you verified that the ground is indeed properly grounded?

I'll try to run down the ground and see if that works.
