4 HPD officers have been brought up on charges of official oppression on the beating of a black male.

They have lost their jobs and could serve prision time. What your opinions on this matter out there?

The suspect was a burglary suspect also resisted arrest. His injuries were minor, only a couple of

laserations to the right cheek and a little red eye. The male was in his teens aswell and unarmed at

the time. A security camra on a storage building cought the incident on tape.

Not going to say SHIT until I see the video. Not hanging anyone out to dry without seeing what actually happened.
The video of this is restricted to the public here. It is only allowed to be seen only by the courts. By the way sorry but I can't download a

video off my computer to here, don't have the hardware. No need to be mean  Police officers would be justified over a 16 year old punk.

It sounds like they've already been through their agency's disciplinary process. I "think" it's bad either way, but presumably it will be up to a jury to decide. Their are zillions of unfounded allegations made against police, but there are also some bad cops who've got some serious justice coming at them.

I don't care if it was a teenage punk, rapist, murderer, pedophile, we're officers of the law and have to maintain a higher standard. I wouldn't, and haven't lost any sleep over a child molester who got the snot thrashed out of him by a victim's dad, and that "assault" folder will likely never make it to the top of the in-box, but if a COP did it, that's a whole different story, a violation of the Constitution and a breaking of the public trust.

Your absolutly right Stendec on this, but the sad part for everyone out there who needs help from the

police will be waiting alot longer than they already have been. The average response time of the police

to a call here is between 30 minutes to 3 hours long. Officers here frankly are sick of this crap going on.

When I was out on a call with HPD in an apartment complex one night on a group of people fighting, 1 officer

said (I don't care let them all just kill theirselves) Thats whats happening here.
