Back in 2006, HUMMER offered a "first responder" package for Hummer H3.

IT had 2 whelen Tir# in grille, 2 500 series in back window, and Tir6 Super Slimlighter in front window.

I was wondering if anyone has seen one up close, Im looking for install ideas or even the brackets/hardware that GM used.

Thanks for any help guys!

i dont have any pics of the H3 youre describing, i do however, have a few ideas for you:

FRONT:

911 TD/WL36 in the Front window (or TIR6 Slimlighter, or dual avenger, or similar)

Whelen PAR36 Dual color foglight replacements

Whelen PAR36 Dual Color Rubber pedestal mount on front bumper (or brush guard if you have it)

SIDES:

LINZ6 in between front bumper and front 1/4 panel

LINZ6 or similar 2 on running boards

REAR:

Traffic advisor rear window. TIR optics. Maybe a StrobesNmore E66 Dual color stick. Or exterior mount it to the rear roof rack cross bar.

LAWs in tail and reverse lights

I did work for an EMS agency that had an H3 as one of our paramedic flycars. I forget what all it had as it was a few years ago since I worked there, but it was a pretty simple package. I know it had two grill lights, I believe two lights in the rear and one on the dash.

Yes, I have been on the hummer forums, and half the people have never heard of it. The other half started giving me lectures on how illegal they are haha.

Currently i just used what i had laying around.

Tir6 Slimlghter in windshield, same placement as the first responder hummer

LAW in reverse lights

Tir3 in side back windows (horrible for light output and tint kills them) most likely temporary

Not alot, but what i had laying around.

Next thing i want is Tir6 for grille, or poss strobesnmore E46 bar across lower grille. However i am stuck on which direction to take that.

On a note about the slimlighter. I have never tried to mount one to headliner, currently it is mounted with the suction cups, which i want to change. Where can i find headliner brackets for a slimlighter and will they work with the hummer? (Problem is windshield is about 90 degree angle)

The local EMA has a 6 head Whelen bar behind the lower grille. It is hard to notice when the lights are off.

Try the coat hanger trick for the slimlighter. (look in the "Tips & Tricks" subforum)
