My name is shaun, I am fairly new to the forum. I am Co-Owner of I.E.S in Chatham, Illinois.
I am a Part time paid EMT-B, Haz-Mat Tech B, and firefighter. (I was full time, recently switched to part time to manage my business and retail store).
I have been in the radio/emergency lighting industry for about 15 years now, I started out building custom lightbars for a fire dept.
I have been involved in Fire/Ems/Police for the last 13 years, I have had the honor of serving as a Police Officer for a time, and have always been involved with Fire/Ems since I joined the fire dept at the age of 18.
I currently have 3 children, ages 10, 3, and 8mo. My wife is another partner in the business, as well as one other partner.
We are a Full Line two way radio dealer/service center and we also stock a full line of emergency lighting equipment.
We are a dealer for the following:
Motorola (Parts and service)
Kenwood Land Mobile radio
Icom Land Mobile radio (Full Line Dealer) (Recently added)
USALERT Fire Pagers
Apollo Fire Pagers
SHO-ME/Able 2 products
Midian add on products and decoders
Telex-Vega Dispatching consoles, IP223 Boxes and C-Soft software.
We also are a sub-dealer for Whelen, Code 3,PSE, and Federal signal products.
We offer a full line Sales/Service/Programming/Installation facility.
