Departments should do more of that. I was in Utica, NY last weekend and at their HQ they had a restored 1940 (ish) I want to say Plymouth police crusier in a showroom type area facing the street. I thought that was a nice touch. I like to see departments embrace their old glory days.

Funny thing is old beacons like that would probably draw more attention as warning devices because they're so different.


All the LEDs in the world and people still won't move over, slow down, or yield. Throw an old rotator up and I really think it would grab their attention.
